Directions for preparing and finishing horses for the ..."Horsing Around.." Event
Directions for preparing and finishing horses --
1. Rough up horses with a kitchen scrubber--example: green used for pots.
2. Prime with ZINSSER BULLS EYE 1-2-3 PRIMER--$9.99 quart
3. Paint or decorate your horse.
4. Seal--SPAR URETHANE (DO NOT SHAKE CAN-STIR ONLY)--$17.99 quart It looks milky but dries clear. Two thin coats are better than one thick coat. If you are painting or decorating the horse it will take two coats of Spar Urethane.
5. The wood base and dowel needs three-four coats whether you paint or stain the wood.
6. Brushes-- DO NOT use foam brushes, they bubble the primer and sealer. Use only POLYESTER or SYNTHETIC.
TIFFIN HARDWARE HAS ALL THE PRODUCTS LISTED ABOVE.
