The 2009 TAG Heritage Festival Event Preview ..."Lighten Up."
Our 3rd Annual art auction at the 2009 Heritage Festival was the "Lighten Up" event. We held a public preview at the TAG art gallery on Monday, Sept. 14, six days prior to the auction. The auction was a success and was held on Sunday, the 20th, at 2:00 p.m. between the Ritz Theater and Elmwood at the Shawhan.
We completely rearranged the gallery for the preview event.
Gerri Abrams and Judi Henderson sample the food and refreshments supplied by Carmie's.
There were two long tables of it!
Three booth tents were set up with tables in front of the gallery to display the lamps, decorated by members for the auction.
All the lamps were in working order. Some were donated by patrons and members. Some were totally invented by the artists.
MLAD (Mark Levans) provided the large banner hung in the gallery front window!
