WHERE LOCAL ARTISTS CAN COLLABORATE WITH OTHERS
A group in individuals gathered together and felt there was a need for a place artists could gather, share and participate in visual arts. Through the efforts of these individuals, and countless volunteer hours, Tiffin Art Guild was born. Have a special talent you want to share with others, want to display your art, or participate in a gallery showing, then Tiffin Art Gallery is for you.

Anyone Can Join!
Anyone with a desire to create visual art is eligble to join TAG. Whether you are a novice, professional, a beginner or a seasoned artist, child, student, young adult, or senior citizen and want to create art, you can join. One great benefit of being a TAG member is you can exhibit your artwork in a true gallery environment!

Hours are 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Closed Sundays, Mondays and Holidays.

Auction art items roll-in!
Members and friends are creatingitems for our AMERICANA fundraiser auction and bringing them to the Gallery, and we need each itemsoon as possible. Make certain you attacha tag indicating your name and the title of the artwork item. They are being collected in the classroom. The photo is an antique chair, decorated in paint by Brenna Blymyer.

TAG's 2012 FUNDRAISER AUCTION
CALL FOR ENTRIES! NOTE CHANGE OF DATE!
It is time to create! This year's theme is 'AMERICANA.'
Our auction is what we depend on for our annual operating expenses, to have our events and shows, to do community outreach and to support our art education efforts.
We need items for the auction and we need volunteers to serve on the Event Committee.
There is a sign-up book on the gallery front counter to record what you plan to donate to our auction.
The auction will be held
Sunday, June 10, 11 a.m.preview with the auction beginning shortly after noon, at the hostoric Tiffin Train Depot on North Monroe Street. Deadline for entries is Saturday June 2.

The 2nd Annual Tiffin Art Guild Photo Prize and Show
...opened Saturday, February 4th, 2012 with a Grand Opening ceat the Tiffin Art Guild Gallery. Over 150 visitors saw the exhibition and the award ceremonies. Our judge was Gil Gonzalez, professional photographer and instructor at Terra. The prize winners are:

BEST OF SHOW PRIZE: $150 - "FROSTED ASPENS" -James Nimz

GINGERBREAD HOUSE POTLUCK
Judy Downey hosted a TAG and friends potluck dinner gathering at the Gingerbread House. Many members and guests were in attendance and there were some very fine dishes to taste! Thanks Judy, and Thanks, Mark Levans for the photos. See them here.
2011 TAG Fundraiser Auction
We raised over $5600 at this year's event!

Thanks to everyone who worked to make the auction a great success, especially Kelli Dariano and Theresa Dysard, who chaired and organized the event, and to all our volunteers and TAG members who participated at the auction - and those who contributed their art work! Thanks again to Michael Strong for volunteering as our auctioneer!

A PAINTING

Educational Offerings
Have you ever wanted to learn how to paint, draw or work with stained glass? Maybe you already know how to paint landscapes, but you would like to learn how to paint portraits. The Tiffin Art Guild has a class for you. Whether you are 6 years old or 60 years old, anyone can learn to express themselves through painting, drawing or any of our variety of classes that TAG offers. Short-term and long-term classes are available for drawing, oil painting, watercolor painting, pastels and many other media. Children’s classes are also offered. Young artists can learn to work with 3-dimensional materials, learn specialized art processes and where children and young adults can develop their existing talents. TAG has something for everyone!

Show Your Work At TAG’s Public Gallery
One of the most important benefits of your membership is to show your art in TAG’s gallery. Through the efforts of volunteers, open hours have been established for public viewings, and you can even have your own private gallery opening. The New TAG Art Gallery is located in Tiffin at 178 S. Washington St. Hours: Tuesday through Saturday, 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Closed Sunday, Monday and some holidays.
