WHERE LOCAL ARTISTS CAN COLLABORATE WITH OTHERS A group in individuals gathered together and felt there was a need for a place artists could gather, share and participate in visual arts. Through the efforts of these individuals, and countless volunteer hours, Tiffin Art Guild was born. Have a special talent you want to share with others, want to display your art, or participate in a gallery showing, then Tiffin Art Gallery is for you. Anyone Can Join! Anyone with a desire to create visual art is eligble to join TAG. Whether you are a novice, professional, a beginner or a seasoned artist, child, student, young adult, or senior citizen and want to create art, you can join. One great benefit of being a TAG member is you can exhibit your artwork in a true gallery environment! Hours are 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Closed Sundays, Mondays and Holidays.
	Win a Jon Adams acrylic painting - for $5.00! Jon painted CAROUSEL HORSES on a 30" x 24" canvas, framed it and donated it to TAG for our fundraiser during the Heritage festival. You can buy a chance to win this beautiful artwork - because the Guild is offering tickets at five dollars each! The number of tickets available now is 200 and they are on sale at the TAG Art Gallery and from members. The painting goes with this year's art auction theme, "Horsing Around." It would look great in your child's room! Contact any TAG member or read the details on donating five dollars for a ticket. Or call the gallery during out open hours.
	Tiffin Art Guild's THIRD ANNUAL ART FESTIVAL Entry deadline extended to August 30, 2010!
	Just Horsing Around... Tiffin Art Guild’s 4th Annual Fundraiser This year we blazed some trails and corralled several of these mini horses. Our talented artists will be branding them for the auction. In September we will have a Roundup Event and preview, and begin taking silent bids. The Auction will be held on Sunday, September 19, 2010 during the Tiffin-Seneca Heritage Festival. Ya’all come down at 2:00 PM now! Meantime, some of the finished horses are on display at our Art Gallery.

Seneca County Fair Fine Arts!	TAG Members win big! Congratulations Pam Biller, Donna Eastlick and Melissa Nye for their prize-winning romp in the Seneca County Fair's Fine Arts exhibitions! Go visit the Fair and check out their work and their ribbons over at the Fine Arts barn.
	Grand Opening of our NEW ART GALLERY! We held our Gala Grand Opening Thursday evening, June 17, 2010, after two months of preparation. A Chamber of Commerce official ribbon-cutting ceremony kicked off the celebration. You can see photos on a separate page - click here!

	Gallery Bench Dianne and Steve Schafer created our new gallery bench! Stop in, have a seat on it, and look at our new gallery! The bench is a true museum and gallery quality piece of art!

	ANNOUNCING Tiffin Art Guild's THIRD ANNUAL ART FESTIVAL Entry deadline extended to August 30, 2010! Tiffin Art Guild announces its 3rd ANNUAL ART FESTIVAL - at a new location! This year's one-day event will be held Saturday, Sept. 11, 2010, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. along Frost Parkway in conjunction with the JAZZ-IN Tiffin Jazz Festival. Our venue will be along Frost Parkway, bordering the Sandusky River, between Clay Street (at the foot of the Perry Street Bridge) to the JAZZ-IN location on Frost Parkway. Entry forms and rules are currently being sent out, or you can download your entry - and the entry is available here in PDF form.
	Educational Offerings Have you ever wanted to learn how to paint, draw or work with stained glass? Maybe you already know how to paint landscapes, but you would like to learn how to paint portraits. The Tiffin Art Guild has a class for you. Whether you are 6 years old or 60 years old, anyone can learn to express themselves through painting, drawing or any of our variety of classes that TAG offers. Short-term and long-term classes are available for drawing, oil painting, watercolor painting, pastels and many other media. Children’s classes are also offered. Young artists can learn to work with 3-dimensional materials, learn specialized art processes and where children and young adults can develop their existing talents. TAG has something for everyone!
	Show Your Work At TAG’s Public Gallery One of the most important benefits of your membership is to show your art in TAG’s gallery. Through the efforts of volunteers, open hours have been established for public viewings, and you can even have your own private gallery opening. The New TAG Art Gallery is located in Tiffin at 178 S.
