WHERE LOCAL ARTISTS CAN COLLABORATE WITH OTHERS A group in individuals gathered together and felt there was a need for a place artists could gather, share and participate in visual arts. Through the efforts of these individuals, and countless volunteer hours, Tiffin Art Guild was born. Have a special talent you want to share with others, want to display your art, or participate in a gallery showing, then Tiffin Art Gallery is for you. Anyone Can Join! Anyone with a desire to create or support visual art is eligible to join TAG. Whether you are a novice, professional, a beginner or a seasoned artist, child, student, young adult, or senior citizen and want to create or support the arts, you can join. One great benefit of being a TAG member is you can exhibit your artwork in a true WORLD-CLASS gallery environment! Hours are 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Closed Sundays, Mondays and Holidays. NEXT MEETING - Monday night, June 17 at 7:30 at the TAG ART GALLERY. Board of Directors meets at 6 in the classroom. Note: We changed our meeting time to 7:30!!!

	We are going to offer our member artists a page on our TAG web site, www.tiffinartguild.org. Here is how to do it: 1. Submit three or four digital photos of pieces of your artwork. They must be saved at 72 dpi (dots per inch), roughly 8 inches wide and of a similar height, saved in .JPG format. 2. Send them to jlajondude@sbcglobal.net with your name and "WEB ART PICS" in the subject line... or burn them on a CD and leave them in Jon's 'inbox' in the volunteer's area shelf in the gallery. Label the CD with your name and "WEB ART PICS". 3. Write a legible 50 word bio and either email it in email text only (no MS Word, please!) to Jon or print it on a paper and attach it to your CD.

	EVENT: TAG's first PLEIN AIR (Outdoors) Painting Expedition! DATE: Saturday, July 13, 2013, 9 a.m. to0end of day. LOCATION: Judy Downey's Gingerbread Cottage in the woods SPONSORED BY: TAG, the Tiffin Art Guild and Judy Downey FORMAT: Open to any artist. Bring your portable art tools, paint, water bottles, etc. This is painting on-site and you will need an easel or folding table. Bring your own lunch. Judy will supply water. We will have a sign-up so those who choose to attend can receive directions to the site.
	EVENT: 6th Annual Tiffin Art Fair DATE: Saturday, August 10, 2013 LOCATION: Courthouse Lawn at Washington & Market St in Tiffin OH 44883 SPONSORED BY: TAG, the Tiffin Art Guild FORMAT: Open to artists that make quality and unique handmade items including fine arts, fine crafts, and other quality handmade items. All artwork and items will be for sale. FOOD & DRINK: a variety of food choices from smoothies to sandwiches to roasted nuts and other quality refreshments will be available for purchase. ENTERTAINMENT: Activities for children will be available similar to our Kidzone in the past. In addition, there will be a drawing contest, a Peoples’ Choice Award, live music and much more FUNDRAISING: A number of non-profit organizations will provide food as fundraisers for their organization. We will have a fundraising auction to benefit TAG, the Tiffin Art Guild
	In May! Our first glass Exhibition! was Three glass artisans exhibit their works at the gallery. The opening celebration on May 4, from 4 to 6 p.m. Jill Groves, Elaine Bast and Fran Jackson and the Tiffin Art Guild invite you to comeand see their beautiful work! You have another week to see this fantastic display of beautiful glass art work!

	Education and Classes Have you ever wanted to learn how to paint, draw or work with stained glass? Maybe you already know how to paint landscapes, but you would like to learn how to paint portraits. The Tiffin Art Guild has a class for you. Whether you are 6 years old or 60 years old, anyone can learn to express themselves through painting, drawing or any of our variety of classes that TAG offers. Short-term and long-term classes are available for drawing, oil painting, watercolor painting, pastels and many other media. Children’s classes are also offered. Young artists can learn to work with 3-dimensional materials, learn specialized art processes and where children and young adults can develop their existing talents. TAG has something for everyone!
	One of the most important benefits of your membership is to show your art in TAG’s gallery. Through the efforts of volunteers, open hours have been established for public viewings, and you can even have your own private gallery opening. The TAG Art Gallery is located in Tiffin at 178 S.
