WHERE LOCAL ARTISTS CAN COLLABORATE WITH OTHERS A group in individuals gathered together and felt there was a need for a place artists could gather, share and participate in visual arts. Through the efforts of these individuals, and countless volunteer hours, Tiffin Art Guild was born. Have a special talent you want to share with others, want to display your art, or participate in a gallery showing, then Tiffin Art Gallery is for you. Anyone Can Join! Anyone with a desire to create visual art is eligble to join TAG. Whether you are a novice, professional, a beginner or a seasoned artist, child, student, young adult, or senior citizen and want to create art, you can join. One great benefit of being a TAG member is you can exhibit your artwork in a true gallery environment! Hours are 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Closed Sundays, Mondays and Holidays.

The general meeting for January will be at 7:00 p.m. Monday night, January 16, at the TAG Art Gallery. Our guest speaker, Kendra Strebig, will give a presentation about her block printing methods and techniques. (Our newsletter is designed and produced by Brenna Blymyer!)
	ANNOUNCING the 2nd Annual Tiffin Art Guild Photo Prize and Show Opening Saturday, February 4th, 2012 with a Grand Opening celebration and Awards presentation at 6:30 p.m. in the Tiffin Art Guild Art Gallery, 178 South Washington St., Tiffin, OH.Our first photo show last year was a huge success and we had over 165 entries. WINTER HOURS!	The Tiffin Art Guild & Gallery hours over the cold, dark months of late Autumn and all Winter are Noon to 4 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday. Closed holidays. Our hours change when we go on Standard Time (as of Sunday, Nov. 6)
	2011 TIFFIN ART FESTIVAL The rain held off until the very end, and we had a great turnout this year for our Fourth Annual Tiffin Art Festival, "A Masterpiece in the Making." Check some of the photos we took - here.
	GINGERBREAD HOUSE POTLUCK Judy Downey hosted a TAG and friends potluck dinner gathering at the Gingerbread House. Many members and guests were in attendance and there were some very fine dishes to taste! Thanks Judy, and Thanks, Mark Levans for the photos. See them here.
	AUGUST MEETING The General Meeting of the Tiffin Art Guild for August 2011 was hosted by member and oil painter, Carol Hoffman at Carol's studio in Clyde on Monday, August 15. We car-pooled from Tiffin and met many members there. Carol's studio is in a large residence, and the studio is huge, filled with collected items and paintings. Brenna Blymyer took several photos. 	2011 TAG Fundraiser Auction We raised over $5600 at this year's event! See photos from our Sunday, June 10th fundraiser at the old Tiffin RR Depot. Thanks to everyone who worked to make the auction a great success, especially Kelli Dariano and Theresa Dysard, who chaired and organized the event, and to all our volunteers and TAG members who participated at the auction - and those who contributed their art work! Thanks again to Michael Strong for volunteering as our auctioneer!

HOW TO HANG A PAINTING	Click here to learn how to affix the correct wire hanger to a painting. The diagram will lead you through the process.
	Educational Offerings Have you ever wanted to learn how to paint, draw or work with stained glass? Maybe you already know how to paint landscapes, but you would like to learn how to paint portraits. The Tiffin Art Guild has a class for you. Whether you are 6 years old or 60 years old, anyone can learn to express themselves through painting, drawing or any of our variety of classes that TAG offers. Short-term and long-term classes are available for drawing, oil painting, watercolor painting, pastels and many other media. Children’s classes are also offered. Young artists can learn to work with 3-dimensional materials, learn specialized art processes and where children and young adults can develop their existing talents. TAG has something for everyone!
	Show Your Work At TAG’s Public Gallery One of the most important benefits of your membership is to show your art in TAG’s gallery. Through the efforts of volunteers, open hours have been established for public viewings, and you can even have your own private gallery opening. The New TAG Art Gallery is located in Tiffin at 178 S.
